Sick Work XD-9's

Man, I've never even see this finish on WORK wheels, but it's pretty gangster. I'm not even 100% sure if this is the finish or if it's just a protective sticker on the spokes of the wheels LOL!
But I can't see any sign of a sticker on it.. I can't find anymore pics of it so I can't be sure. But even if this isn't a true finish, I think it should be. So crazy

If anyone can tell me if it is real or not, that'd be great!
EDIT I just found out it is legit. It's WORK's Machined Gloss Black (MGB).. Man, I want this finish SO bad now.



BTW, did a little update again. Got kind of sick of looking at the low res banner.. it kind of made the blog look cheap haha so I changed the background and made it fixed and just found a random picture to go with the colors. Hopefully I'll get something nice this summer for a new banner.

WFC DC5

Over on the WFC forums, a new member posted up his DC5 with super gangster fitment. Look at that pull on the fender! So sick.

... Kept scrolling further and I saw that the guys at bulletproof also visited ASM! Everything about ASM is so baller.. especially their shop with the hardwood floors!
Check out the dry carbon doors.. he also has a dry carbon front bumper and rear bumper.. but not sure if I'm feeling the orange painted side mirrors..

Stumbled upon this on VWvortex.. a guy that worked for bulletproof automotive went down to Japan and visited Amuse and took some pretty sick pics.. All that titanium all in one place! And the Superleggera 350Z! Hewphhhhhhh.. everything is on point!

These guys play hard. J's kits on all of them and the yellow one has an FA5 rear conversion to the USDM tails.
And the last one has a black Mugen RR kit.. DO WANT.

Little Update

So, I got a little tired looking at the same old banner and the same old colors so I changed things around a bit. I've been trying to make a new banner, but with the lack of any photo shoots because of the weather, there are no photos that really interest me so that it can stay up permanently.

I created a little .gif file with a bunch of photos that I just threw together so that the pictures would transition every 6 seconds. I apologize for the quality since .gif's are limited to 256 colors and don't work well with .jpg
I think it's acceptable though haha, I'll keep trying to find some other way to get it done properly.. I just needed to change it up cause looking at an old picture of my car was bothering me haha

I also changed the background and font colors slightly. If you guys have any suggestions, let me know! So far, I like it though haha

I get money

Sorry for the lack of posts lately.. I've been busy with Chinese New Years, work and Valentine's day shenanigans. I love Chinese New Years only because I get a bunch of money. Mo money means mo car parts haha

I also dropped my car off at the body shop last Thursday to get the accident I got into 3 weeks ago fixed up. Picked it up the next day! Looks nice and fresh again.. It's unfortunate because since I've had the car, I've replaced the bumper every year. T_T
Now I'm scared to drive it because there's no 3M on it and I don't really have the option of hiding it away in this sucky weather.
On another note, I also paid off the rest of the wheels and ordered up coilovers that should be here within 2 weeks.
Just a few more parts and I'm set to roll out hard!

Summa Summatime Pt. 2

After posting those older pics, I've had a craving to go out and shoot or do something. Since the weather and the lack of nice cars prevent me from doing so, all I can do is go back through folders and folders of previous shoots and just re-edit pictures in hopes that I might get something a little better. Turns out, it does make me a little happier re-editing pictures.

This time it's of Arif's EK the day I got my TE37's on for the first time, Ryan's EP3 on our last real shoot of the season with Prashant's Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS (such a sick lens) and Jason's S2000 way way back two summers ago.

I was bored and did some re-edits of pictures that I didn't really get to when I did the shoots. I don't think these pictures were ever put up at all if anything. Sometimes it's cool to go back to shoots from way back and try to find some pictures that you skipped over or missed.
Love the rolling shots of Punit's DC and the corner shot of Terence's S2k.
I am dying just waiting for nice weather to come. DYING.

I remember when I saw this car last year, my jaw dropped. This guys' car is so sick and aggressive looking. It's been one of my 'inspirational' builds that I can keep looking at and never get tired of it.
